Pixelated Embroidery

Yes, please! Photographer Diane Meyer’s series, Time Spent that Might Otherwise Be Forgotten, features photographs incorporating small areas of pixelated cross-stitch that blurs out areas of the pictures. (via Design Milk)

VUHL + Hoi Bo

Better late than never: two excellent identity projects by Blok Design for VUHL cars and Hoi Bo bags and clothing.

Feedlots

Satellite compositions of American feedlots by Mischka Henner. Vegetarian yet?

Dennis Adelmann

I was surprised to discover Dennis Adelmann isn’t the creator of the Ikea Fika cookbook visuals, but nonetheless, these compositions still satisfy the OCD designer-foodie in me.

Another Something

‘Notes on the beauty of culture & creative direction in elegant creativity’. Love the simplicity and navigation of AS&Co.

Winged Tapestries

Stunning shots of Canadian Moths by Jim Des Rivières.

Raw Color

Dutch design studio, Raw Color, reflects a sophisticated treatment of material and colour by mixing the fields of graphic design and photography. Big love for their kooky food still creations. Found on gorgeous Russian design blog, Omami.

V is for Val

A cheese-eating, bike-riding Canadian, now living in Amsterdam. Loves great design but creeped out by ballpoint pens. Alternate dream jobs include animals and cooking, but not cooking animals. Personal mantra gifted from an expert on the subject: Fortune favours the brave.

A is for Ali

Design hybrid by day. After hours she shoots film with toy cameras, sew clothes from books with Japanese instructions that she barely understands and hangs out with her husband, two beautiful girls and three crazy dogs. Personal mantra is "Don't worry, everything is going to be amazing". And for the most, it is.
